About Michelle
Michelle is a Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist dedicated to helping clients achieve their health and wellness goals, one meal at a time.
She is a strong believer in using whole foods to nourish and heal the body.
With over 12 years of experience in the field of food and nutrition, she specializes in bringing together the science of nutrition and the art of healthy eating by offering practical advice, realistic tools, and personalized healthy eating recommendations to her clients.
She has worked in Canada and abroad, providing nutrition advice and healthy eating recommendations to individuals, families, private kitchens, and personal chefs.
Michelle spent nine years in the United Arab Emirates where she was a Nutrition Consultant. She had the privilege of establishing the Nutrition Services program at a private sports training facility and also worked closely with members to help them achieve their health and wellness goals.
She has written extensively about nutrition for editorial publications in Canada and internationally, including Chatelaine, CBC, and Mountain Life. During her time in Abu Dhabi, she was a weekly columnist for The National newspaper, an English language daily newspaper in the UAE.
When she’s not seeing clients, Michelle is in her kitchen developing new recipes. She has contributed recipes to five books written by Leslie Beck RD, one of Canada's most widely recognized and trusted nutrition experts. Michelle's recipes appear in Leslie Beck's Healthy Kitchen, Leslie Beck's Longevity Diet, Heart Healthy Foods for Life, Foods that Fight Disease, and The No-Fail Diet.
Michelle graduated from Ryerson University with a degree in Food and Nutrition before completing the Dietetic Internship Program at University Health Network (UHN) in Toronto. She is a member of the College of Dietitians of Ontario, and Dietitians of Canada.
She currently lives in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates with her husband and daughter.
